Your saved follower lists
Each check saves a copy of your followers list (usernames only) in this browser. Your next upload is compared with the latest copy to show who unfollowed you. Nothing is stored on our servers.
Drop the ZIP above. The tracker saves a snapshot in this browser.
Next week or next month, download a fresh export and drop it here. It joins the timeline next to your saved snapshots.
Build your history from exports you already have
If you requested your data before, look in your Downloads folder for files named likeinstagram-yourname-2026-09-01-….zip. Drop all of them together. The tracker sorts them by the date in the file name, so the order you pick them in doesn't matter, and fills in the whole timeline at once.

Unfollows are counted between two dates, not to the day. An account can also vanish because it was deactivated, renamed or blocked you, so open the profile before drawing conclusions.
Why there is no automatic unfollow tracking here
Trackers that alert you the moment someone leaves have to check your account constantly. They do it either with your Instagram login or by scraping your profile through third-party data providers. We chose not to: an export you request yourself is slower but it can't get your account flagged, and nobody else holds your data. If you only need the answer towho unfollowed me on Instagram, a monthly export is plenty.
More checks from the same file
One Instagram export answers all of these. Upload it once on any page; the snapshot is shared across the site.
Exactly which options to pick so the file is small and arrives fast.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free Instagram unfollow tracker?
Yes. Unfollowers Tool's unfollow tracker is free and needs no login. Drop your Instagram data downloads and it shows a follower chart plus a timeline of who unfollowed you and who followed you between each date.
Is there an unfollow tracker that doesn't need my Instagram password?
Yes. This tracker works only with the data downloads you request from Instagram, so it never needs your password or your username. Everything is read in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
How do I track who unfollows me on Instagram over time?
Download your Instagram data every week or month and drop each export here. Every export becomes a point on your timeline, and the tracker lists who unfollowed you and who followed you between each pair of dates.
Can a tracker show who unfollowed me before I started using it?
Only if you have an older Instagram data download. Apps start counting the day you install them, but this tracker can compare any exports you kept. Drop them all at once and the history fills in.
Does Instagram notify you when someone unfollows you?
No, so you need to compare your followers on two dates. This tracker does that with your Instagram data downloads, without a login.
Where are my snapshots stored?
Only in this browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data deletes them, so use Save list as a file to keep a copy and drop it next time with your new export.
Does it track unfollowers automatically?
No. Automatic tracking means something has to log in to your account or scrape it on a schedule. This tracker only works with exports you download yourself, so you decide when it runs. It keeps your last 12 snapshots.
